Istanbul University

Maia Alhares is an Iraqi undergraduate Political Science and international relations student at Istanbul University. She also has the joint scholarship of Islamic Development Bank and Türkiye Scholarships as an international student. She is a volunteer at different institutions and organisations such as the Iraqi Students Union in Türkiye (IRÖD), Al-Sharq Youth, and the president of International Students Club at Istanbul University. She's very interested in intercultural communication, language exchange, and political activism.
