Istanbul University

Nour is a master’s student in political science and international relations at Istanbul University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. Her main research interests are migration, gender, inclusion, border crossing, violence, resistance, human agency, and critical humanitarianism.

She is engaged in research on Syrian refugee women in Turkey and the EU. She also worked with a Syrian-led NGO that was concerned with Syrian displacement and refugee rights.
